What ages do you teach?

We currently have three age groups as follows: Teenie Peedie Movers Nursery class Peedie Movers P1-P2 and P3-P4 Peedie Movers Plus P5+

What genres of Dance do you offer?

Following the IDTA syllabus, we combine our classes to offer Acrobatic Dance, Contemporary Modern Jazz and Ballet.

Can my child join mid way through a term?

Yes, as long as there is space in the chosen class your child is more than welcome to come along for a free taster session and sign up for the remainder of the term.

Do you have a uniform?

We have branded leggings, vests, hoodies etc available to purchase through the website from a local Orkney supplier. This is totally optional, and as long as your child is comfortable and can move freely, whether in leggings and a T-shirt or a leotard then that's absolutely fine. All classes are performed bare feet so no specialist footwear required.

How much is a class? Is it pay per class or per term?

Classes workout at £6 per class. This is paid termly where you will be invoiced at the start of each new term. If you have a sibling at the Dance West Orkney whether in the same class or a different class, you will receive 10% off the 2nd child's term fee.
